Intimate venue. Came on a Friday night with a girlfriend without a reservation but only had to wait for our host to clear a table for us. We chose pilot grigio to start, then my friend opted for the fish tacos and I got the seafood cakes and a salad. We then shared. All of our choices were tasty. I probably wouldn't order the fish tacos only because it wasn't a dish you could pick up and eat like a taco. That was a bit disconcerting as, well, it is a taco. Our server was pleasant and food arrived fast. Prices were very good.

We've been here two or three times now successfully, we've attempted more times but they always happened to be randomly closed for various reasons lol but everything is consistent, food tastes great and comes in larger portions than you'd expect, including the kids meals. Never had an issue with service, and ambiance is similar to that of a diner. We'll be back again!

Ambiance is nice and was well decorated inside. The fish taco was very flavorful and was a good portion size. The food came quick and all at once and the servers kept checking up with our table.

Very accommodating and kind waiters. Food is good. Love the salmon tacos here. Very American-fare if that's your thing. Good place to grab a bite with friends. Not super cheap relative to the quantity of food but I wouldn't say it's exorbitant.

I had a lot of fun this dinner. I just met these friends not too long ago but I really like them : D, we talked about scenarios and mbti and couples at church. Burger good. Waiter super nice. Apparently they still have bacon jam which is a huge find. Drinks are solid. slightly expensive imo, but worth. I like the vibes here a lot. Feels very hemmingway.

Last meal in Pittsburgh with my friend, love their signature exceptional Turkey devonshire, which is a local food everyone must try. Their chicken tenders are also the best I have ever had, which are crispy and delicious. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in PGH during the 3 years, that's why I chose here to enjoy my last luncheon. Goodbye, Pittsburgh!

My dear friend and I ventured over to union grill on a late summer weeknight. We were guided to the table, perused the menu, and to our delight saw half price drinks! What a wonderful late night special! We ordered two $3.50 mules (classic and cranberry) and the strong notes of ginger shined in the drinks. After picking drinks we moved onto the foods. One should be aware that there are not many shareable foods, which was not ideal for my dear friend and me. Fate led us to choose the church pierogies and the fish sandwich. The pierogies were butter forward and a bit over priced for just three. The fish in the sandwich was a bit under seasoned but paired nicely with the tartar sauce. The $2.25 brownie sundaes were enticing but alas we were too stuffed to order them. Overall the food was satisfactory, the service was good, and the ambiance was that of a waterfront restaurant (however the music selection did not match the vibe of the establishment...but what do I know )

I used to love their food. It's definitely changed. I don't know if they got a new chef or what but my favorites used to be the fish tacos and church pierogies. Both changed. The fish taco is now 1 single gigantic hard to eat taco. The pierogies now don't taste made from scratch and taste more like frozen Mrs.T's. A bit disappointed since the remodel. Used to like bringing out of town guests here. It's still good, but no longer "great" Drink deals are still great and the bottle of wine deal is still awesome

Came back for lunch recently and had another good experience. I got the turkey devonshire, which is apparently one of their top picks. Photos made it look way too cheesy/goopy, so I got it without the cheese sauce. Still fine, though not surprisingly a bit dry. I just wasn't in the mood for such a heavy lunch dish. It did not come with any sides, which is too bad because their sides tend to be quite good. My mom got the salmon burger and really liked it (and she gets salmon a lot so has high standards). It had a sauce that looked like mayo but was better/different than typical mayo. Came with a very generous side of veggies. It was a very hot day when we came here, so their good air conditioning was much appreciated!
